NANSH Working Group

The North American Network of Small Herbaria is an open access data portal provided by Symbiota and intended to foster digitization of small collections and facilitate collaboration among institutions. The establishment of this portal is the result of collaboration between Symbiota and iDigBio's NANSH Working Group.

Small Herbarium Workshop at Botany 2014

iDigBio, the North American Network of Small Herbaria (NANSH), and SCNet are pleased to collaborate on a 1-day workshop focused on digitizing small herbaria. The workshop is scheduled for 31 July 2014 in Boise, ID following the close of Botany 2014. We have funding to reimburse up to 25 participants for one day, the reimbursements not to exceed $500.00 per person.
 

Small Collections Workshop, 7-10 April 2014

CollectionsWebiDigBio, the Small Collections Network (SCNet), and Central Michigan University (CMU) are pleased to co-sponsor a workshop focused on recruiting, supporting, and retaining small natural history collections within biodiversity digitization. This is an invited workshop, to be held at CMU, 8-9 April 2014. The workshop is currently fully subscribed.
